Smile!!You guys said you were looking for three criteria (aside from the fact that she needs to be smiling) for this shoot, and I think I've nailed each of them here. Needless to say, this shot is commercial because it's a photoshoot. But even more than that, Miley has a lot of commercial appeal. She's a youthful pop-singer, and this shoot helps emulate that young appeal. In terms of an interesting setting, she's not plastered up against a white wall like in most of her shoots. The silver chair isn't the focus of the shot, but rather it works in a way that brings the attention to Miley. Her smile is the center of the picture, and definitely catches your attention. Finally, this is a fresh shot because it's very clear. Miley's smile jumps off the page at you because it's cute, but also a tad cunning. There's a story here. I also think her yellow blouse and accessories help the overall vibrancy of the photo. I hope you guys like this as much as I do!

Joan: I think you look adorable! You can tell this is before you started smoking pot because your eyes aren't fucked up red as they are now. Miley, you nailed this shot!!! I can't find anything wrong in this photo. You did all of the 3 things Beth asked for and you set the bar high girl!

Amanda: You picked the right one out of your samples this time! That makes me a happy Manda! This is great - I can feel the energy, and your smile is strong (albeit a tad cheesy but that isn't a major problem). Everything is pretty much what we wanted and I really can't say much bad about it. Great work!

Anna: This photograph defines "fresh and vibrant" (and I think the fact that you've chosen a picture of you at the tender age of fifteen really helps to sell this concept). It looks as though you're bubbling over with excitement, ready to burst out of that chair and dance around the room. I think it's very interesting how your hair has actually completely framed your face in this shot; usually I like to see neck extension, but with the theme being all about the smile, it actually does a wonderful job of keeping the focus where it should be. I think the chair works well to liven up the setting without it being obnoxious, but just stay mindful of how the backgrounds in your shots match up with you, the fashion, and the overall look you're going for.

Beth: Agree with the other judges. I think you did great this week. Very youth, energetic and natural. The pose is cute, and this week is definitely your niche. You look very commercial. Just be careful with your smile. Agree with Amanda. Looks a little bit cheesy
