Joan: This photo shoot was about being relaxed and not looking uncomfortable. The only thing I can say I like is the hair and your eyes. But other than that I do not like this photo. Your pose is all wrong, I wish you looked more relaxed rather than looking stiff.

Amanda: I hate the pose. A lot. I don't like the dress, either. The pose + dress + expression = discomfort, all right. That isn't even a smile, especially when matched with your eyes. Now I am with Joan that you have great eyes, but this isn't the way we want you to look here. There's no background that pops, and there's no vibrance here. It's boring, and you look uncomfortable. Overall, it isn't very good. Sorry :/

Beth: I like it Julianne. I think you manage to look commercial with your age. The smile a little bit stiff but I really like the styling. Overall for me this is acceptable

Anna: Julianne, I really want to like this photo, because I think you have a naturally divine look about you, but that expression of yours really lacks sincerity. It almost seems as though the photographer was taking too long, and you've gotten to the point of, "Just take the damn picture already." I think the red dress and the movement in your hair helps to breathe a little life into the shot, but I'm afraid it's not enough to push past the shortcomings. There is no background to speak of, and your pose looks rather awkward. If you look at your hand specifically, it's almost cupped as if you're trying to hear something in the distance, rather than delicately brushing your hair behind your ear. It's these kinds of things you need to be mindful of as a model, and it's something for you to work on in the future.
