Hello Final 3
Here we are, 'bout to crown our Ninth Winner in the series. I think every single one of you have something new to offer us. No matter what happen, just remember that you did a great job by made it to the Final
Let's start our Final Judging Session!!!
Amanda: Sorry, Ayu. I'm not really too fond of this. You look a bit stiff and unnatural. I also don't like this hairstyle on you here. It doesn't go with that thick coat. I can see the fashion appeal, but... that's really it. Your smile looks forced. Your outfit is too black. There's nothing that makes this pop. I like a good risk-taker, but... this falls flat. If you're going to go for something more conservative, at least try and make it pop somehow! I'm not going to remember this :/
Joan: This is something new and different to wear for the red carpet. My only problem is this is your moment to shine and you didn’t. You wore something that I can find at Macy’s. Your height has never been an issue for me but you don’t look tall like you said you do. You still look short; I like your bright smile but not the hair. Nothing about this is spectacular it is just average. This is disappointing since you have done amazing this cycle. Good luck Ayumi!
Beth: I really hate to agree with them, Ayumi. But I don't think you really shine in this photo. It's Spring now!!! I want to see the color because I think the Asian girl like us (our skintone) look good in every colors. The proportion of your body is kinda stiff too. I'm sorry Ayumi. No matter what Ayumi, you're one of the consistent model in this cycle. That might help you a lot.
Anna: I absolutely love that you aren't afraid to take risks even when the stakes are this high; my hat's off to you my friend! I actually do think you look taller, but I can see where Joan is coming from because your outfit is very top heavy; from your waist up you look tiny, but your long legs, heels, and pose really do help to give you length. I think the gold accents are fabulous against the black outfit, the very black outfit...the OVERWHELMINGLY black outfit (wearing a black belt over a black sweater jacket over a black turtleneck is certainly interesting!).
I really like your face here, to me you look genuinely happy, though I think the low quality of the image dims your spark a bit. I have to agree with the other judges though, I'm not a huge fan of the old spinster lady hair with this outfit. Overall, I am very proud of you for taking a risk and choosing something completely different than the typical red carpet dresses and gowns, but there are a couple of things here and there I think you could have tweaked to make this great look absolutely fabulous.
Amanda: This is exactly what I expected from you. You look gorgeous. You look happy to be there. That dress is brilliant, and complements the red carpet wonderfully. You're stealing my attention, and appearing on my "best-dressed list" in the morning. This silver looks GREAT on you. Great work, Charlize
Joan: You know I began to worry about what photo you would pick for this shoot. Because I remember that Britney Spears dress you picked last game we played together. I think you look phenomenal and gorgeous! I love the pose, the bag and the jewelry. You just did amazing here Charlize and I am very glad you finally made it to the red carpet. Good luck!
Beth: Wow!!! I can't believe this is your first time in the Finale. Charlize, during in the middle of the competition, I was really worried for you. You started the game so strong but after that, your photos were kinda bad but this week, you manage to end the game with a strong note. Beautiful dress, sexy pose. Simply stunning.
Anna: The thing I love most about you, Charlize, is you have an aura about you that embodies classic Hollywood royalty. Let's start with the outfit: this Atelier Versace gown is absolutely divine, and the only question is whether it was you that inspired the designer, or if it was the designer that inspired you...because honestly, this is a match made in heaven. Your accessories are fabulous with the dress, and your hair and expression compliment the overall look wonderfully. Your pose is also pitch perfect; you are truly a beautiful, confident, and elegant woman...just like me!
Amanda: I love the pose. You look like a model with it. The dress is great, and the gold belt is a nice accent. Now what I DON'T like is your face, particularly your mouth. You look sinister. You look angry. You look like you're there to raise havoc. It's still gloriously high-fashion, but that expression just rubs me the wrong way. That's really the only negative thing here, because it's otherwise what we want. Good job!
Joan: Love love love the dress, and the pose. Fits perfectly together! However I strongly agree with Amanda here. Your face kills this! Seriously this isn’t the first time this has happened; I don’t understand this expression at all. Your jaw and chin looks so huge because of your mouth being open. It just doesn’t fit with the pose at all, and ruins this. Not a big fan of your hair here either but I still love the dress and pose. Good way to end it and good luck!
Beth: I really like your hairstyle. And your pose is awkward but in a good way. The pose is strong. I love the way you play with the dress. Not a big fan of the color of your dress but the styling help the photo a lot. Overall, I think you did great, Gwen.
Anna: I was hoping you would push the envelope, staying true to yourself, and you haven't let me down Gwen! This is exactly what I wanted to see from you this week. I also think it's great that you've chosen this particular red carpet appearance because of the drama that surrounds the dress (this was supposedly designed by you under your L.A.M.B. label, but it was actually designed by Michael Angel).
All that aside, this dress really does look spectacular on you, and I think the dark eye make-up ties into the overall look nicely. The "attitude" in your expression is certainly not what's typical for these types of shots, but I personally think it gives you an interesting edge. I'm not a big fan of that (bracelet?), but all of your other accessories look fabulous. My favorite thing about this shot though is definitely your pose; it's high fashion, edgy, and confident. Out of all the models, I think you've grown the most, and you should be very proud of yourself!
