I debated long and hard about what to do for this shoot. There were a lot of generic shots that were really just me smiling, and while I happen to think those shots are just fine, I thought that I could do more with it. I chose this one, because I wanted to do something a little risky on my first shot, show that I'm not afraid to take chances and be bold - unlike Katy Perry, who's boring and safe all the time. This smile is about more than just giving the camera a grin, it's about having fun and being silly and loving every minute of it regardless of what anyone else might think. Hope you like it!

Anna: Okay, I must be honest, when I first saw this photo it looked to me as though the Joker had shot you with his "smile gun", and you've fallen out of your chair...a lifeless body with a painful looking smile plastered on your face for eternity. That aside, I love to see you girls take risks, and this certainly pushes boundaries. The image tells a story, it's an intriguing (though somewhat awkward) pose, and you still manage to keep your eyes on the camera through all of this. Unfortunately, your smile looks so unnatural, it actually makes me a bit uncomfortable just looking at it.

*sad quiet voice* That's how I smile when I'm feeling happy and giggly...

Joan: This is a serial killer smile!!! I do love the hair on the ground and your body on the ground. Very different than what the other girls sent in. However, this seems too much of a smile! It is very over the top, plus like Anna said it comes off unnatural.

Amanda: I really have nothing new to add. I've peered at this photo a few times, and it really hasn't grown on me. The smile is sort of creepily cheesy, and it doesn't exactly seem like it's a natural "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" smile. I do think the photo is an interesting concept, but for something that's supposed to be focused on your smile, it really isn't - and the smile you do have would be somewhat of a deterrent to enticement. Uh, you know what I mean!
I do like that it is a risk, but I really can't find much of anything great about YOU in this picture. However, it's by no means awful, so as long as your partner does decently, you'll more than likely stick around.

Beth: Yeah, the smile is too creepy. I'm not sure about the angle. Your pose a little bit stiff. You look like you lost the bottom half of your body to a serial killer. At least you gave us a smile even though it's a little bit awkward
