So, for me, Autumn is a sad sad sad time since I have to go to school . So I decided to portray some sadness in this photo. The other thing represents Autumn is the hat. I saw the hat in many movies, comic books,... when it's autumn and the girl wearing it stood under a forest, where the leaves were falling. It was romantic. So in the end, my photo is the sadness of the girl waiting for her love under a leaves-falling forest.

Amanda: I'm pretty sure posting this is obligatory: I love my hat. And yours is great too! I can definitely see it as an autumn seasonal piece of headgear, and wearing it makes you look somewhat older than the youthful tennis girl we saw last round. I'm not sure if I relate the sadness to autumn, since "back to school" is something that makes some people happy. I do like the artistic values in here, and of all the seasons, I definitely get an autumn vibe the most even if it isn't front and center. It's a very pleasant photo, so good work!

Joan: When I first saw this photo, I did not know what to make of it. I kept looking at it and I don’t like this. The only way I could figure out this was autumn was because of the crappy leaves on the left. The background looks fake and badly photo shop. I think you only added leaves to the photo and didn’t do anything to the background so it must be the real photo and not your fault. I am happy you went with a more high fashion noncommercial look. It is nice to see something different from last week however I am not completely sold that this is autumn and the photo is rather boring. Nice lips though!

Anna: Autumn is when the joy of summer comes to an end, and when life begins to wither and die, so in my opinion you have captured the emotion of the season wonderfully. I can understand why you felt the need to overlay the leaves and forest onto the image, because generally, if people don't see orange leaves, they don't see fall, but I am not that shallow. In fact, the way you've done this in photoshop almost makes it look like a bad magazine scan. My one other comment is I think you're definitely taking a risk by just giving us a head shot for this theme; I would have loved to see you interpret the season with a complete outfit and pose as well, but I think the hat and your powerful emotion certainly helps to make up for it.

Beth: I think this is very subtle. I love the emotion that you portray in this photo. Autumn is definitely the gloomiest season for me. I love the styling but I agree with Joan, the background really looks like a cheap photoshop. It just didn't work with your photo really well.
